Deserts

Not only the greeneries can show light, the many deserts have beauty in every sight.

From the blue skies to the sandy slopes, I wonder the Bedouins time of dream and hope!

My favorites

Vampires and Vikings, the filthiest but my favorite! How could I possibly forget the Tudors, with the glorious King Henry the eighth. From supernaturals to historic fighters to magnificent kings, these legends have inspired me to believe in the possibilities of the impossible. King Henry’s insistent decisions; even though some failed always seemed to escalate his personality. Whether it’s the Salvatore brothers or the original Klaus Mikaelsson, the vampires’ compass of anger and compassion is also just so enchanting. Then we have Ragnar Lothbrok, precisely a mix of both savage and royal. The way he conquers has surely made me know that he was not just a legend but definitely a real existing Viking!

Road trip

What a change from the busy skyline in Dubai into the pink sands of Al Ain. Driving through the calm roads with not a single traffic reminding me of how Dubai used to be 15 years ago. When there was only one radio station, dubai 92.0 and no traffic updates to help you. Not really needed at that time anyway. Going to school with two ponytails, waiting to finish and have that ice cream from baskin Robbins that seemed the most exciting thing other than watching the Sesame Street on tv. The empty streets with scattered little shops look pretty much like spotting Feras sweets in the neighborhood back then in Dubai, where I’d walk along holding daddy’s hand. Skipping and jumping looking at all the cars driving passed us. When weekends would be more of going to the park for a family picnic than the confused issues of deciding what heels and where to go today. Capri sonnes and Oman chips were the most tastiest snacks not to forget going to sindbad which was our IMG at that time. Al Ain is an amazing trip to bring back old Dubai memories!

Imagine

Imagine the roads without cars and horses instead.

Imagine the sky full of birds at noon and stars at night visible to the naked eye despite the city lanterns.

Imagine the sound of a boy playing down the yard outside your house.

Imagine the giggles of ladies strolling by for their early morning tea.

Imagine seeing an old couple holding hands under the umbrella as it would be their first date.

Imagine war of men in armors and swords with their own strength in battle.

Imagine the amazement of a soldier to receive a telegram of his son’s birth.

Imagine receiving postcards from your aunt in states away visualizing how another country looks like.

Imagine getting ice cream just to get a glimpse of that guy

Imagine writing letters with the excitement of sending and waiting for responses.

Imagine, oh imagine.

Imagine the only good nation, which is ‘imagination’.
